Bulk import, update, and export links

Use CSV tools to import, update, export, or delete many links at once.

Bulk tools help when a spreadsheet is faster than clicking through links one at a time. Use them for migrations, campaign cleanup, agency handoffs, and regular backups.

Bulk import modal in the Links dashboard showing CSV upload options, tag selection, and the t.ly domain selector.
Bulk Actions in the Links dashboard let teams import, update, export, or delete links in batches.

Bulk import links

  • Go to Links and open Bulk Actions Bulk Import.
  • Download the template from the modal and keep the column headers the same.
  • CSV fields: LongURL (required), Backhalf (optional), Password (optional), Description (optional).
  • Select the short domain you want to use.
  • Optionally apply tags and retargeting pixels to every imported link.
  • Imports run in the background. You will get an email when the job finishes with a link to download any failed rows.

Bulk update existing links

  • Go to Links and open Bulk Actions Bulk Update.
  • CSV fields: ShortURL (required), LongURL (optional), Backhalf (optional), Password (optional), Description (optional).
  • Every short link in the file must already exist on your account.
  • Selected tags and retargeting pixels apply to every updated link.
  • Updates run in the background and send a completion email.

Export links

  • Go to Links and open Bulk Actions Export Links.
  • If you filter your Links list first by date range, tag, pixel, domain, user, or search term, the export matches those filters.
  • The export includes link details plus click totals, unique clicks, and QR scan totals.

Moving from another shortener

If you are migrating from Bitly, Rebrandly, Short.io, TinyURL, or another shortener, keep the original export as a backup before changing anything.

  1. Export your links from your current shortener.
  2. Open the Shortener CSV Import Mapper.
  3. Select the source shortener and upload or paste the export.
  4. Download the T.LY import CSV.
  5. Upload it through Bulk Import in the Links dashboard.
  6. Test priority links first: ads, QR codes, email campaigns, packaging, sales links, and anything already printed.
