This Business Days Calculator helps you count working days (Monday through Friday) between two dates. It can also add or subtract business days from a start date to find deadlines, delivery windows, or due dates.
How it works
- Pick a mode: Between dates or Add/Subtract.
- Enter your date(s) and choose whether to include the start/end dates.
- Optionally exclude holidays (US federal observed dates or your own list).
Notes
- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are always excluded.
- Holidays that fall on weekends do not reduce business days.
- Everything runs locally in your browser.
FAQ
What counts as a business day?
A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and (optionally) holidays.
Are the start and end dates included?
You can choose. Toggle "Include start date" and "Include end date" to match how you count.
Does it support US federal holidays?
Yes. You can exclude US federal holidays, with an option to use observed dates (Fri/Mon).
Can I add my own holidays?
Yes. Switch Holidays to "Custom" and enter one YYYY-MM-DD date per line.
Is this calculated on the server?
No. The calculations run locally in your browser.
