Go-live checklist
Pre-flight checks before you share or print a link or QR code.
Before you share a short link publicly or print a QR code, run through these quick checks. They prevent the most common launch issues: broken destinations, missing tracking, and QR codes that do not scan reliably.
Destination checks
- Open the destination URL in an incognito/private window to confirm it loads without a login.
- Test on mobile if your audience is primarily mobile.
- If you are using UTMs, confirm the landing page still works and your analytics tool records the parameters.
Tracking checks
- Click the short link once, then view stats (for t.ly links) by adding a + to the end of the link.
- If you need dashboards, filtering, exports, or campaign reporting, review Analytics & Link Tracker.
Link and QR decisions
- Need one destination? Use a short link. Need a hub page with multiple destinations? Use OneLinks.
- Printing a QR code for a campaign? Prefer dynamic QR codes so you can update the destination later and track scans.
QR print checks (if applicable)
- Use the QR code printing guide before you go to press.
- Print a small test sheet first and scan it with multiple phones under normal lighting.
- If scans fail, follow QR code not scanning.
Brand and trust checks
- For branded links, set up a custom domain and verify it works before launch.
- If you are sharing links in high-risk contexts, review check links before clicking or scan a URL with Link Checker.
