How to Bulk Shorten URLs

We are excited to announce that T.LY URL Shortener now supports bulk shortening of URLs using our CSV Import tool. You can import thousands of URLs in seconds using one of our domains or even your own custom domain. Additionally, if you're migrating from another URL shortener, you can bring your old links to T.LY. To get started you can reach out to support, and our team will guide you through the import procedure. We offer this service free of charge.

In addition, we offer a simple bulk shortening form where you can paste your text containing URLs and get it back with all links shortened. Try it here to quickly shorten multiple URLs at once.

Shorten URLs in Google Sheets

If your URLs are already in a spreadsheet, use the official T.LY Google Sheets add-on to create short links without exporting a CSV.

  1. Install T.LY URL Shortener from Google Workspace Marketplace.
  2. Open the add-on from the Extensions menu and connect your T.LY account. No API key is needed.
  3. Select one column of URLs, or choose to scan every URL on the current sheet.
  4. Choose your short domain and write the short links into the adjacent column or replace the originals. Check the output column before writing results.

You need an active trial or paid T.LY plan. Installing the add-on does not add a separate charge. See the setup guide for details.

Steps to Import:

  1. Go to T.LY and create an account.
  2. Add your custom domain if importing branded links from Bitly or Rebrandly. (Optional)
  3. Click on the "Bulk Import" button on the main links page.
  4. Choose your domain and select your CSV file with your links. There is a template CSV file to get you started. See the CSV import guide for supported columns and file requirements.
  5. Click the Import CSV button, and your links will be imported.

It's really that simple! You can now bulk-generate short URLs in a few seconds.
