What Is a GS1 QR Code?
A GS1 QR Code is a 2D barcode that follows the GS1 standard for encoding structured product data, making it ideal for inventory, healthcare, logistics, and retail applications. It supports Application Identifiers (AIs) such as GTIN, expiration dates, lot numbers, and more.
Supported Application Identifiers
This tool allows you to generate GS1 QR Codes using:
- (01) GTIN: Global Trade Item Number (14 digits), used for product identification.
- (17) Expiration Date: Encoded in YYMMDD format.
- (10) Lot / Batch Number: Alphanumeric string for batch tracking.
- (21) Serial Number: Unique identifier for a specific item unit.
- (8200) Extended Data: Custom data or URL (optional).
