Platform Image Specs & Metadata Tags

  • Facebook & LinkedIn: Recommended 1200×630 (minimum 200×200). Uses Open Graph tags like og:title, og:description, og:image, og:image:alt, og:image:width/og:image:height, and og:url for canonical mapping.
  • Twitter/X: Supports Summary (120×120) and Summary Large (1200×628) cards. Reads twitter:card, twitter:title, twitter:description, twitter:image, and twitter:image:alt.
  • Pinterest: Portrait-first—aim for 1000×1500 (2:3 aspect ratio). Typically follows og:title, og:description, og:image, and og:image:alt for accessibility.
  • Slack & Discord: Pulls from Open Graph; 1200×630 is a solid default. Including og:image:secure_url, og:site_name, and a consistent og:url helps prevent stale or incorrect previews.
