How to shorten a URL without ads
- Copy the destination URL you want people to visit.
- Open T.LY and paste it into the Long URL field.
- Click Shorten URL.
- Copy your short link and share it in a message, email, social post, or QR code.
Use the original destination URL when creating your link. If you paste another provider's short link, its advertising page may still appear later in the redirect chain.
What does an ad-free URL shortener do?
An ad-free URL shortener creates a shorter address without inserting advertisements between the click and the destination. Some services show an interstitial page first: a separate screen with ads, a timer, or a button the visitor must click to continue.
T.LY does not add those advertising screens. A customer opening your product link should reach the product page. Someone scanning a QR code on a flyer should reach the page you chose.

Can I remove ads from a short link I already shared?
If another provider controls that short link, T.LY cannot change its redirect behavior. Copy the original destination URL, create a new T.LY link, and replace the old link wherever you can edit it. Shortening the old short link again will not remove that provider's ads.
Will T.LY remove ads from the destination website?
No. T.LY keeps advertising pages out of its own redirects. The website you link to controls its own content and may show ads.
