Hello Oak Grove Parents/Guardians,

We will be kicking off a Book Blast program on Monday April 15th. Students will receive an information flier and view a video on Monday to help them get started. We know they will be very excited since there are possible prizes they can earn! More information will be emailed to parents next week.
Our 8th grade students have voted and they have chosen to have their end of the year field trip at SeaWorld. More information will be sent home about the 8th grade field trip and Cap and Gown. Eighth grade students that have not maintained a minimum GPA of 2.0 for the school year will not be allowed to participate in the Promotion Ceremony or the 8th grade end of year field trip.
After school Soccer will also begin on Monday April 15th, permission slips are available in the office. Students must have a permission slip and the Concussion & Head Injury form signed by their parent/guardian and turned in to the office in order to participate. The Splash Science Lab visited our school last week! Seventh graders had an opportunity to learn about water quality, storm drains, and investigated microorganisms by using a microscope. This was a great learning opportunity for our students and gained new insight on how important water is in our everyday lives and what we can do to protect it.
