Hello Oak Grove Parents/Guardians,
Please join us in congratulating our Students of the Month for September, they are shown in the picture ( from left to right) Allison Ramirez (8th), Mauricio Phillips Nuno (7th), Fabian Hernandez (7th), Damian Muñoz (7th), Elian Garcia (7th), Dafnne Jaimes Figueroa (6th), Emiliano Garcia Barajas (6th) and Leonardo Tamayo (6th).
Our students of the month are recognized for consistently practicing and applying Oak Grove's values as described in our Eagle Etiquette, which are Kindness, Respect, Responsible, and safety.
More exciting activities will be coming soon:
- Our students and school will be in the Kiwanis Jamul Parade this Sunday, Oct. 8th, please come out to see us and cheer! Parade starts at 9:00 a.m. from the stop sign at Lyons Valley Rd & Skyline Truck Trail and ends at St. Pius church.
- 6th Grade Camp is Oct. 23rd to 27th. Students attending 6th grade camp will have picture day on Oct. 19th. Please make sure your camper attends school this day as there will not be a makeup picture day.
- Picture Day for all students, 6th grade students not attending camp, 7th and 8th grade students will be on Oct. 26th.
A few Reminders:
- The last day of the 1st Quarter will be on Oct. 19th.
- If your 6th grade student is not attending 6th Grade Camp, they are still required to attend school daily throughout the week of Oct. 23rd to 27th.
- For your child's safety, we ask that you drop off and pick up your student in the roundabout in front of the office only. Please do not park in the parking lot or on the street.
- Please remind your students to bring their chromebooks to school everyday, charged and ready to be used in class.

Hola padres/tutores de Oak Grove:
Felicidades a nuestros estudiantes del mes de septiembre, los estudiantes son, Allison Ramírez (8°), Mauricio Phillips Nuno (7°), Fabián Hernández (7°), Damián Muñoz (7°), se muestran en la imagen (de izquierda a derecha) Elián García (7°), Daphne James Figueroa (6°), Emiliano García Barajas (6°) y Leonardo Tamayo (6°).
Nuestros estudiantes del mes son reconocidos por practicar y aplicar constantemente los valores de Oak Grove como se describe en nuestra Etiqueta Eagle, que son bondad, respeto, responsabilidad y seguridad.
Próximamente habrá más actividades interesantes:
- Nuestros estudiantes y la escuela estarán en el desfile Kiwanis Jamul este domingo 8 de octubre. ¡Ven a vernos y anímate! El desfile comienza a las 9:00 a. m. desde la señal de alto en Lyons Valley Rd y Skyline Truck Trail y termina en la iglesia de San Pío.
- El campamento de sexto grado es del 23 al 27 de octubre. Los estudiantes que asistan al campamento de sexto grado tendrán el día de tomar fotografías el 19 de octubre. Por favor asegúrese de que su campista asista a la escuela este día ya que no habrá un día para tomar fotografías de recuperación.
- El día de fotos para todos los estudiantes, los estudiantes de 6º grado que no asisten al campamento y los estudiantes de 7º y 8º grado será el 26 de octubre.
Algunos recordatorios:
- El último día del 1er trimestre será el 19 de octubre.
- Si su estudiante de sexto grado no asiste al campamento de sexto grado, aún debe asistir a la escuela todos los días durante la semana del 23 al 27 de octubre.
- Para la seguridad de su hijo, le pedimos que deje y recoja a su estudiante únicamente en la rotonda frente a la oficina. Por favor no se estacione en el estacionamiento ni en la calle.
- Recuerde a sus estudiantes que traigan sus Chromebooks a la escuela todos los días, cargados y listos para usar en clase.
