We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Lead Delivery Officer to support effective service delivery and implementation of service improvements.
As the HR Operations Lead Delivery Officer, you will have the opportunity to lead on a wide range of activities that ensure the seamless operation of our HR and OD services. You will be the go-to contact point for our customers, offering expert guidance and support on payroll and HR administrative requirements.
Your responsibilities will include understanding and resolving complex pension, terms and conditions and payroll queries; development of team members skills and knowledge; and helping to implement and embed service improvements. You will be required to effectively analyse data sets and review statutory and contractual requirements to implement effective solutions.
Joining our larger HR & OD service, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with your peers across various teams within the wider service. Your contribution will play a pivotal role in achieving continuous improvement in our HR&OD service delivery.
About You
As a HR Operations Lead Development Officer, you will bring a wealth of expertise in providing payroll and generalist HR services across different sectors. Ideally, you hold a CIPD/CIPP level 5 Certificate or demonstrate equivalent work experience within a similar sector.
An excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will have a keen understanding of how to bring value to an organisation whilst building strong and trusted relationships across the council.
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes’ walk away.
