The Trumpet Judgments

We have on Supply of Grace covered everything related to Day One of the Tribulation. We looked at all seven of the Seal Judgments, which include the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

In this article, we’re going to cover the first four Trumpet Judgments. These are massive global calamities, but let’s not forget that while these judgments are being carried out there is also a ton of evangelism taking place here on the Earth with the 144,000 and the Two Witnesses.

As far as timing goes, I think we’re now somewhere about halfway through the first half of Tribulation, maybe a year and three quarters in. We just covered the Seal Judgments.

I want to correct something I wrote last week. We talked about two earthquakes that happen during those Seal Judgments, When that seventh seal happens and that angel throws the golden censer filled with incense and fire to the Earth, John hears an earthquake. I had said that I didn’t think by that point any of the buildings on Earth would be left standing. That was wrong. I had forgotten that at the midway point of the Tribulation when the Two Witnesses are killed, after three days, they’re brought back to life, and they ascend into Heaven. After that, there’s a great earthquake and we’re told in Rev 11:13 And the same hour (the same hour that Moses and Elijah ascended into Heaven) was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell… This takes place at the midway point after all the Seal judgments and the first six trumpet judgments. If only a tenth of Jerusalem fell, then that must mean that all of Jerusalem was still standing after all the two Seal judgment earthquakes had taken place.

So we have to conclude that those previous earthquakes were merely tremors that the entire Earth felt and many buildings are still standing. So at the end of Rev. 6, when the sixth seal happens and there’s a global earthquake, we’re told in Rev 6:15 that just about everyone rich and poor, bond and free, they all head for the mountains and “hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

They’re not running into the mountains because their homes collapsed in the earthquake, and they have no shelter. They run into the mountains in anticipation of the wrath to come, because they understood the message God was sending them in that global earthquake. They will know what that means. That earthquake is God’s preliminary announcement to the world that “My wrath is coming. I’m going on the offensive. And these are going to be global judgments.” They got that message loud and clear and that’s why they run into the mountains.

And of course, what follows the Seal judgments are the Trumpet judgments.

You might remember that the seventh Seal judgment was God’s answer to prayer to the souls under the altar, who were praying for speedy justice for their murders. We would do well to keep in mind that the trumpet judgments and the bowl judgments in the last half of the Tribulation, are all righteous judgments of God upon an unbelieving world but they are also answers to the prayers of the martyred saints. These trumpet judgments are continued retribution for their murders. We have millions of believers killed and an unbelieving world consenting unto their deaths. So God’s global judgments will be just, not only as judgment for all their sins but also appropriate as an answer to prayer for justice for their murders.

Rev 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. Rev 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; Rev 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; Rev 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. Rev 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. Rev 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Time Element

Do these judgments happen like clockwork or are they random over the course of 3 ½ years? For example, 3 ½ years is 42 months. We’re looking at a total of 14 judgments in the first half of the Tribulation, which would mean that a new judgment could happen every 3 months. I personally don’t get that impression reading all the passages we covered on the Seal judgments and these first four Trumpet judgments.

Take the Seal judgments, for example. The first four judgments were the horsemen of the apocalypse. I got the impression that those judgments were pretty much rapid-fire, one right after the other at the beginning of the Tribulation, but then a significant amount of time had to have passed before we get the fifth seal judgment with the souls under the altar. Time needed to pass in order for saints to be martyred after the antichrist makes his appearance on the world stage. How much time would that take? Six months at least? I’m not sure. The Lord tells them to relax. More will be martyred as prophesied. Then we get the sixth seal judgment of the earthquake, then a half hour of silence in Heaven, and then the seventh judgment, which was the beginning of His answer to their prayers. Here we are with the trumpet judgments, presumably, about a year and 9 months into the Tribulation, and I get the impression again these are rapid fire judgments, one right after the other, immediately following the seventh seal judgment. We already know that the fifth trumpet judgment is the locusts with stingers. That lasts for five months. So I would think that the sixth and seventh trumpet judgments won’t happen until after those five months have passed. So I don’t get the impression it’s one judgment every three months. I suspect sometimes, one judgment happens, sometimes a number of judgments happen all at once and time is given to the world to process the ramifications of what’s happening and time to listen to Moses and Elijah and the 144,000 so that hopefully they might get saved.

The First Trumpet

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

We have hail and fire mingled with blood… cast upon the earth. Are we talking two separate elements? Is hail raining upon the earth plus balls of fire mingled with blood or are we talking about hail that’s on fire and also mingled with blood?

I’d suggest it’s the latter, because this is similar to the seventh plague Moses inflicted upon Pharoah in Exod. 9:22-28. The seventh plague was “hail, and fire mingled with the hail”. And what was the result in Moses’ day? The plants of the earth were smitten (vs. 31-32).

Bullinger would spend almost all the seven trumpets hilariously sharing how commentators of his time tried to spiritualize these judgments, basically saying, “You can’t have a ball of ice with blood in it be on fire, so this has to be symbolic and it’s probably talking about X,Y, and Z.”

Bullinger’s point was, look, if you took the plagues in Egypt literally, why wouldn’t you take this literally, too? I totally agree, and I’d suggest that the reason this judgment is so similar to the seventh plague in Egypt is because God wants you to take this judgment literally just as you took that plague literally.

Well, how can a ball of ice mingled with blood be on fire?

Why not? You might remember in Eze 28:14 the Lord is talking to Satan and He says, “Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.” How can stones be on fire? Because He’s God, and He can do whatever He wants with His creation. Plus, the stones of fire had meaning. We talked in my message last Sunday about the burning bush in Exod. 3. Moses wrote in Exo 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. How can a bush be on fire and not consumed by the fire? Joe Rogan would say it’s because Moses had a psychedelic experience. No, it’s because Moses encountered a pre-incarnate Christ who is the Creator of this universe and can do whatever miracle He wants that defies the laws of physics because He is God. Plus, the burning bush had meaning. So we have no reason to not take this judgment literally – balls of ice mingled with blood that are on fire that will literally rain down upon the entire Earth just as it did in Egypt in the days of Moses.

The one variation of this judgment from the seventh plague in Egypt is that, this time, there is blood that is mingled in those balls of ice that are on fire. Why the blood? First, this is also a fulfillment of prophecy. The Lord said in Joel 2:30, “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath, blood and fire”. Second, I’d suggest that the blood goes back to the souls under the altar and that blood is meant to signify that this is an answer to their prayers, judgment upon the world for His martyred saints. Their blood is now literally on your heads. The fact that blood mingled with the fiery hail is cast upon the Earth would seem to say that “the blood of the martyred saints has now come back to haunt you in judgment.”

Just picture this. Around the globe hail coming down, hail that is on fire mingled with blood. And what’s the result? “…and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.” We don’t learn about buildings burning up or people catching fire, only a third of trees and all grass gets burned up. So, wait a minute. God is carrying out retribution for His martyred saints, and all He does is burn a bunch of grass and a third of the trees? That’s right. God totally pulled His punch here, and He did it for a reason, which we’ll cover at the end.

I did some internet sleuthing. Do you know how much land there is in total on the Earth? The land on the earth is about 148,940,000 km., or about 57,491,000 miles which equates to about 36,794,240,000 acres. Let’s go with the acreage. Almost 37 billion acres. Every blade of grass that exists across all 37 billion acres is gone. And a third of the trees are gone. A third of all trees on the Earth – gone. One question we might ask is, “Why didn’t God wipe out ALL the trees, too?” God’s pulling His punches for a reason, which we’ll cover at the end.

The Second Trumpet

Rev 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; Rev 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

First we have, as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea. Because John says as it were, he’s telling you to not take this literally. He is merely trying to describe what he’s seeing. It was like a mountain, but it wasn’t a mountain. This is just a description that helps us to picture in our minds what John is seeing – something like a mountain. John’s like, “It’s enormous like a mountain, maybe even kinda rocky like a mountain. But it’s not a mountain. I don’t know what it is.” Some suggest that this could be an asteroid. I’d say anything’s possible. I just take this to mean that this is a creation of God that’s like a mountain that’s on fire and this fiery gigantic rock mountainous thing gets cast down into the sea.

Bullinger would again hilariously criticize those who cannot take this judgment literally. He wrote, “Why not? In one of the plagues of Egypt it is written that Moses ‘lifted up his rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants, and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood’ (Ex. viii. 20)… The poorest and humblest reader can understand this. It does not require education in order to believe God… It does not require wide reading to understand God. It requires faith.” LOL I love that.

So we’re told that this fiery gigantic rock mountainous thing gets cast down into the sea. What sea is he talking about? We’re not told, and I can’t think of any corresponding verses to help identify which sea. Some have suggested that this could possibly be the Mediterranean Sea, which makes some sense to me, because this is another judgment to avenge the martyred believing Jewish saints, and many, if not all of them, probably lived in the Middle East. Plus, there are lots of boats in the Mediterranean Sea.

Another way of looking at this verse is that when John writes “sea” he meant it in a broad, general sense. This mountain is cast into an ocean, any ocean, and the result is that a third of all five large ocean basins are turned to blood. Maybe this mountain broke up into five sections when it entered the Earth’s atmosphere and hit all five ocean basins. Only God knows. But I’m inclined to think that this judgment is global. This judgment effects all oceans, and I think this because of context. The previous judgment was global effecting all land mass. Why wouldn’t this judgment be global too? If the first trumpet effects all land, then surely this second trumpet effects all sea. Another reason I’d suggest that this is global is because the next thing that happens to the oceans occurs in the second bowl judgment in Rev. 16:2 in which all the oceans around the globe are become “as the blood of a dead man.” So it would make sense to me that a third of all oceans are effected here and then the remaining 2/3 of all oceans are effected in the second bowl judgment. I’ll bet you money that the third of the ocean that turns to blood covers all the coastlines around all the continents of the earth, as if to say, “Blood has come upon your shores. Death and judgment from God are coming. Get right with God.”

Let’s look at these verses again. Rev 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; Rev 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

So we have three results: a third of the sea became blood, a third of sea life dies, and a third of the ships are destroyed. I did some more internet sleuthing. How much water are we talking about that turns to blood? There are five large ocean basins covering 71 percent of the Earth’s surface holding over 1.3 billion cubic km of water. What’s a cubic kilometer? A cubic kilometer is the volume equal to that of a cube 1 kilometer in length. A kilometer is about 2/3 of a mile. So this cube, 1 kilometer in size would equal just over 264 billion gallons of water. This means that just over 433 million cubic kilometers of water will turn into blood around the globe. How many gallons is that? I did the math. It’s 1.1 times ten to the 20th power, which is essentially one with 20 zeroes after it, which is called a Novemdecillion.

I’m reminded of how, when the water turned to blood in Egypt, we’re told in Exo 7:21, “And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.” That blood in the Nile didn’t stay in the Nile. It soaked into the land and that blood got tracked everywhere and got into everything. Just imagine how the blood from these oceans will track onto the beaches and land and just get into everything along the coasts. There are ocean mists, splatter from rain, etc. If the oceans around Florida turned to blood, just imagine – all the coasts would be a bloody mess everywhere.

The Third Trumpet

Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.

We’re given this kinda difficult phrase, there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp. Some have suggested that the star falling from Heaven is an angel, and I would agree, again, because of context. Not any previous context but because of a later context. When we cover the fifth trumpet judgment next week, we’re going to read in Rev 9:1, “And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.” That star falling from Heaven is clearly an angel and it was given to him the key to the bottomless pit. The phrasing of the star falling from Heaven is more than coincidental. The Bible interprets itself and I think the phrasing a star falling from Heaven informs us that this must be an angel. Plus, angels are described as stars in Revelation. You remember how in Rev 12:4 that the dragon’s tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, meaning that Lucifer persuaded a third of the heavenly host to follow him in rebellion against God, and they were all cast down to the Earth. On top of that, when we get to the third bowl judgment, an angel pours out his vials upon the rivers and finishes what had begun here with the third trumpet. All rivers will then turn to blood.

John would write, there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, meaning that this angel was on fire burning like a lamp, but it wasn’t a lamp. I take that to mean that when this angel shoots out of Heaven down to the Earth, he is a giant fireball, and the flames around him were shaped like the flames you’d see atop a burning lamp, but this isn’t a burning lamp. He just looked like the flame of one.

When this angel reaches this Earth, whatever he does, he will effect the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters. The phrase, fountains of waters, seems to mean springs, places from which water springs up out of the Earth, which I would think include lakes. I think we’re seeing a contrast here to the second trumpet, which was about salt water, and here, this judgment is about fresh water. Now there are roughly 165 major rivers with the Nile being the biggest and longest, then Amazon, Yangtze (yang-see) in China, and the fourth is the Mississippi River. According to Google, there are more than 300 million lakes in the world.

This angel is going to do something bad to all these fresh water rivers and lakes.

Rev 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

This again would be an indication to me that this star is an angel, as angels are created for a purpose, and we’ve seen on a few occasions in Scripture that their names reflect their God-given roles. Satan was called Lucifer, meaning “light-bearer,” the brightest most gifted of the stars or angels in Heaven. The angel over the bottomless pit is called Abaddon, which means “destroyer.” His named defined his role in God’s heavenly government. So it would make sense to me that an angel would be called Wormwood because he was made to serve this specific purpose of God during the Tribulation.

Wormwood is a plant with oil that contains the chemical thujone (thu-jown), which can be poisonous. The thujone in wormwood oil excites the central nervous system and can cause seizures and other problems. This means that a third of all waters, of all rivers and all lakes will become poisonous. As far as I can tell, thujone is colorless, which means that just by looking at that river or lake, you won’t know it’s poisonous.

In the OT, wormwood is often associated with judgment for idolatry, calamity, pain, sorrow, and injustice. In Jer. 9:14-15, the Lord says of Israel that they “walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them: Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.” Again, wormwood is associated with judgment for idolatry, faithlessness in God.

There’s another point to be made. The poisonous waters won’t be an problem for believers. Consider what the Lord said in Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The Fourth Trumpet

Rev 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

We’ve covered this judgment a few times already. A third part of the sun, a third of the moon, which is still red as blood, as well as a third of the stars all become darkened. So it would seem that the sun at this point is still giving some light because what happens to the sun during the fourth trumpet would be noticeable by everyone on Earth. By smitten, John means struck, hit.

We might well ask, “If a third of the sun is smitten does that mean it’s broken off or just darkened?” John was careful to explain so as the third part of them was darkened. It’s still there but darkened. We also have light for a third of the day and a third of the night will now be completely gone.

I’m now editing this article on my back patio, and I’m looking at the grass and the trees and I’m looking up at the stars and the moon, and I’m thinking, “Enjoy it while it lasts. It may only be a few years before they’re gone.”

Rev 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

We have an angel flying through the midst of heaven. Is he flying around in Heaven itself or is he flying in the first heaven over the earth talking to the people of the world? I think he’s talking to the people of the world. In Rev. 14, when an angel flies around the globe and gives everyone the everlasting gospel, it was likewise said of him in Rev. 14:6 that he was flying in the midst of heaven.

So this angel is flying around the globe saying with a loud voice, to the people of the Earth, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! There are three woes in the book of Revelation, which are the fifth, sixth, and seventh Trumpet Judgments, which we’ll cover in the next article.

But that seventh trumpet is a doozie, thought to last throughout the final 3 ½ years of the Tribulation. That seventh trumpet carries over into the final seven bowl judgments.

Here’s a question. Why does the angel reference the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound? How would the people of the Earth know about the trumpet sounds? How would they know they’re experiencing God’s trumpet judgments? One explanation could be that Moses and Elijah will be explaining all this to the world.

There’s another possibility. When the trumpets are blown, the people of the Earth can hear them. When the first trumpet sounded, all the people heard it and they watched fiery hail come down and burn up all the grass and a third of all the trees. When the second trumpet sounded, all the people heard it and they watched a third of all the oceans turn to blood. When the third trumpet sounded, all the people heard it and they discover that a third of all fresh water has been poisoned. When the fourth trumpet sounded, all the people heard it and they watched a third of the sun and a third of the moon become darkened and a third of the stars disappear, and they lost a third of light in the day and night.

The point is the people of the Earth will know what the angel is talking about with the trumpets. They already know that those are judgments from God in Heaven.

Conclusion

There’s an important point to be made about all these judgments. God is clearly pulling His punches with these judgments so far, and while these judgments are taking place, we cannot forget what’s also taking place at the same time here on the Earth.

Remember that down here on the Earth, we still have the Two Witnesses, Moses and Elijah. They are Rev 11:4 …the two olive trees, the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. Their ministry is literally global. All the world knows about them. All the world knows what they’ve said, and all the world has had to deal with additional judgments Moses and Elijah inflicted on their nations for trying to stop them and have them killed. And when they die, all the unbelievers that dwell upon the Earth will celebrate and give gifts to each other. Why? Rev 11:10. …because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

So while these judgments are happening, Moses and Elijah are explaining everything to the world. They are God’s two witnesses, giving testimony to what is true. They will testify to not only God’s existence and the truth that Christ is the only begotten Son of God, but they’ll also testify to the truth of everything that has been happening over the course of the first half of the Tribulation. They’re not simply explaining THAT these judgments are happening, but they will also be explaining WHY these judgments are happening. They’ll be exposing sin and corruption in the whole world on a scale like never seen before, which will make them a threat to every power structure, every leader, and every false religion, which is why the world will hate them so much they’ll send armies to take them out.

But they’ll also be explaining to a lost world that even though these are judgments of God, He’s pulling His punches with these judgments basically saying, “He’s still giving you some time to be reconciled to Him. And you can be reconciled to Him. You can still get saved. Place your faith in Christ as the Son of God, so that when or if you die, you can still spend eternity with God.”

This was how God always dealt with Israel in time past. Yes, He’d carry out judgments upon Israel for idolatry, but He would also at the same time through His prophets be extending a hand of mercy, an offer of reconciliation. Judgments are coming for what you did, but you can still get right with me. You can still be reconciled to me. Like Isaiah told Israel before the Babylonian invasion, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isa. 1:18).

This is why, I suspect, we have 21 judgments in Revelation because little bit by little bit, judgment by judgment, the unbelievers are seeing that everything about this world is coming to an end in judgment, and time is running out, but there is still time to be reconciled to Him and be saved before it’s too late. This is why the ministry of Moses and Elijah is so crucial.

Let’s not also forget that this is why the 144,000 are here on the Earth. Remember, they are the nucleus of the new nation of Israel forged out of the fires of the Tribulation, that prophesied kingdom of priests, who are on this Earth to bring the good news of Christ and His kingdom to everyone on the Earth. You remember how the Lord said in Mat 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” During the Lord’s earthly ministry, the gospel of the kingdom was to the Jews only. But during the Tribulation, the gospel of the kingdom will go global, offered to every person, every Gentile, and every nation under the sun. That is primarily through the ministry of the 144,000.

You may recall that after the sixth seal judgment at the end of Rev. 6, with the global earthquake and everyone ran into the mountains and caves and they cried for the rocks to fall on them and said, Rev 6:17 “For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” God then stopped the narrative in chapter 7, and He inserted this parenthetical flashback to the 144,000 being marked at the beginning of the Tribulation.

The answer to the question, who shall be able to stand? is answered in chapter 7. The 144,000 will be able to stand because they’ve been marked by God. And you have in that chapter cause and effect. The cause is the 144,000 are marked and the effect is in the last half of that chapter: millions and millions of Gentiles will become believers before they died as a direct result of the ministry of the 144,000. This parenthetical flashback in chapter 7 doesn’t simply exist to only explain to us the 144,000 but it also exists to remind us that a ton of evangelism will be taking place on this Earth while these judgments are being carried out.

God isn’t simply carrying out these judgments because the world is full of unbelievers who deserve judgment. He is also carrying out these judgments little by little so He can also extend His hand of reconciliation to an unbelieving world which is being verbalized by the Two Witnesses and the 144,000.

God did the same thing with the narrative and the Two Witnesses. When the seventh trumpet is sounded at the end of chapter 10, God stops the narrative and again inserts a parenthetical flashback to the appearance and global ministry of the Two Witnesses during the first half of the Tribulation. This parenthetical flashback in chapter 11 doesn’t simply exist to explain to us the Two Witnesses but it also exists to remind us that a ton of evangelism is taking place on this Earth while these judgments are being carried out.

We talked earlier about the bloody beaches in Florida. Then all the grass is gone. A third of the trees is gone. A third of the lakes and rivers are poisoned. Everybody’s freaking out. But then one of those young male Jewish virgins, one of the 144,000, takes a ride on the Holy Spirit Crazy Transportation Service. He just shows up in Florida. He does miracles. He also preaches the gospel of the kingdom. Put your faith in Christ. Be saved. His kingdom is coming. Word about this Jewish kid spreads like wildfire. Maybe there will be videos of him on the internet that’ll go mega viral. Thousands and thousands of people listen and get saved. They go tell their friends and family. They get saved. Before you know it, millions in Florida have gotten saved before God has even started the three woes, the last three Trumpet judgments, which we’ll cover next week.

All of this to say that the way God carries out His judgments is cause to praise Him.
