Dido and Aeneas Registration

Henry Purcell's baroque masterpiece, based on a libretto by Nahum Tate, retains its allure more than 300 years after its premiere. Contained within this 60-minute opera are themes of love, jealousy, betrayal, and grief. At its core, it is the story of two women, one motivated so much by jealously and greed that she will stop at nothing to author Queen Dido's demise.

Dido and Aeneas will be presented by Eastern's Opera Workshop on April 9 at 7:30PM (this performance is by invitation only) and April 11, 2021 at 2:30PM.
