ANNE K. CLARK
Quietly departed this life on April 18, 2021 with family by her side. Beloved daughter of the late Kimball Clark and Adelaide Coble Clark, she will be deeply missed by her 11 surviving cousins and their children and also by her many friends. Anne was born in Kansas City, MO, but spent much of her life in Arlington, VA where she lived at the time of her death. She loved animals, but cats in particular and she cherished her constant companions Jinny and Sabrina. Anne worked as a legal secretary for much of her career and was an avid reader, Nats fan, and in retirement learned how to play the guitar, speak Spanish, and hone her bowling skills. A longtime member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church choir, a limited attendance service will be held at that church on Monday, May 10 at 1 p.m. A livestream of the service can be viewed by accessing a link on the church website homepage. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation of Arlington, VA, (lostdogrescue.org), or to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 4250 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA 22207.

My condolences to all of Anne's family on your loss, I have known Anne since we were both 17 years old. Although Anne and I have often lived in different parts of the country over the years, I consider myself lucky that we have been able to share so many joint milestones together--birthday celebrations, retirement planning experiences, drivers' license renewals, holiday events, and more importantly, the more ordinary but no less important everyday sharing events that good friends have. She has become an "honorary" member of our family, and will be sorely missed.
