SLSF June General Meeting

Join us to hear a Central Valley activist's view of the state of the valley. Pedro Ramirez, a political, non-profit and labor organizer and native of California's Central Valley will share his views of the challenges and opportunities for community organizing, voter engagement, and flipping GOP held elected offices at every level.

Pedro is a Cal State Fresno graduate with a Master's degree in Public Policy.  As an undocumented Immigrant, Pedro has worked with labor organizations, elected officials and community groups to champion pro-immigrant policies such as the California Dream Act, immigration reform, and access to affordable quality education. He is a co-founder of BValley Impact Strategies and has held positions in labor, nonprofit, and served as a staff member to several elected leaders. Currently, Pedro serves as a board member for Central Valley Worker Center, United We Lead Foundation, and Valley Voices - all organizations focused on community organizing, labor rights, and immigrant rights.
