Ever wonder what an open-world Joker game made in Unreal Engine 5 could look like? If so, TeaserPlay’s latest tech demo should give you an idea. This game would most likely follow the storyline of Todd Phillips’ Joker (2019) film with a dash of Joker: Folie à Deux (2024).
We see Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker wandering around Gotham City both in street clothes as well as a a bold red suit, including a performance on the famous steps. The ‘Joker Stairs’ actually connect Shakespeare and Anderson avenues at West 167th Street in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City. Unfortunately, we don’t catch a glimpse of Lady Gaga as his love interest, Harley Quinn.
